Last week we covered a real DC wedding that was featured in Washingtonian Bride and Groom. Today you’ll find all our favorite photos from Tommy and Kristen’s surprise wedding at the Anderson House in Washington DC.
This wedding is particularly special because it all started as a wedding engagement party. The bride and groom invited all their close friends and family to an intimate engagement party but surprised all their guests by informing them they would be getting married that very day! No detail was overlooked. Handwritten, personalized invitations went to each guest. A champagne fountain was poured as soon as the couple announced their surprise. And the groom surprised the bride by having the A Cappella group from her alma mater serenade her for her birthday. All in all a wedding never to be forgotten!
